The Altyn-Arashan hot springs are one of the most famous natural attractions in Kyrgyzstan, offering a perfect combination of adventure and relaxation. Located near Karakol, this alpine valley is surrounded by forests, meadows, and snow-capped peaks of the Tien Shan mountains.
The name “Altyn-Arashan” means “Golden Spring,” reflecting the unique value of this place for travelers.

Location

The valley lies about 10–15 km from Karakol at an altitude of around 2600 meters. It can be reached by hiking, horseback riding, or off-road vehicles.
