The journey continues through the stunning Kok-Moinok Canyons, known for their Mars-like landscapes and dramatic clay formations. Next, we stop at the scenic Orto-Tokoy Reservoir, where calm waters reflect the bright blue sky and surrounding mountain peaks — a perfect spot for photos.

Today, we travel along the scenic southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake — one of the largest high-altitude lakes in the world, surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Tian Shan Mountains.
Our first stop is Kochkor, where you’ll experience an authentic Kyrgyz felt carpet workshop. Local artisans demonstrate the traditional craft of making Shyrdak and explain the symbolic meaning behind the intricate patterns.
Next, we visit Bokonbaevo for a unique eagle hunting experience. Meet a Berkutchi and discover the ancient art of hunting with golden eagles — a proud nomadic tradition passed down through generations.

The ascent is steep but incredibly rewarding, offering some of the best views for hiking in Kyrgyzstan mountains. The lake’s surface shifts in color from emerald green to deep blue, reflecting glaciers and the high-altitude sky — a dream location for mountain photography Kyrgyzstan.
