Upon arrival at Bishkek Airport, you’ll enjoy a comfortable transfer to a cozy guesthouse, where you can relax and refresh after your journey, preparing for the adventures ahead.
Your first day also includes an introductory city tour of Bishkek — a vibrant and welcoming capital. We’ll start with a stroll around Ala-Too Square, the city’s main square and a central hub of Kyrgyz public life. Here, locals celebrate national holidays, festivals, and large-scale events, making it the perfect place to feel the city’s pulse.
As we explore the city center, you’ll visit the State Historical Museum of Kyrgyzstan, gaining insights into the country’s rich history, traditions, and contemporary life. Our walk continues through Oak Park, one of Bishkek’s greenest and most atmospheric spots, known for its shady avenues and open-air sculptures.
A striking contrast awaits as you encounter St. Nicholas Church, one of the city’s oldest architectural landmarks, standing gracefully alongside modern buildings.
This gentle yet enriching city tour is the perfect way to start your journey through Kyrgyzstan — an inviting first encounter with the country, experienced through the vibrant life of its capital.

After breakfast, we set off for one of Kyrgyzstan’s most breathtaking natural wonders — Lake Köl-Suu. Nestled high in the mountains, this stunning alpine lake is rightly considered one of the country’s most beautiful, a true gem of the Tian Shan.
Perched at approximately 3,600 meters (11,800 feet) above sea level, Lake Köl-Suu sits in the upper reaches of the Kurumduk River, a tributary of the Kök-Kiya River, near the Kyrgyz-Chinese border. Its turquoise waters, framed by sheer cliffs, create mesmerizing landscapes that are rare even among Central Asia’s high-altitude lakes.
The journey to the lake itself is an adventure: winding mountain passes, dramatic valleys, and sweeping alpine meadows unfold at every turn. Along the way, we’ll make stops at the most scenic spots, take photos, enjoy a light picnic in the fresh mountain air, and soak in the untouched beauty of the highlands. Every section of the route reveals new panoramic views of rugged peaks, deep gorges, and vibrant meadows.
In the evening, we arrive at our accommodation — a traditional Kyrgyz yurt. After dinner, relax under the starlit sky of the high mountains, experiencing the magical ambiance of a night in the Kyrgyz highlands. Sleeping in a yurt amid this pristine landscape will be one of the most memorable moments of your entire journey.

Early in the morning, after breakfast, we embark on one of the tour’s most unforgettable experiences — a horseback ride to Lake Köl-Suu. Mounted on sturdy local horses, we follow a scenic mountain trail that winds through high-altitude valleys, rocky paths, and panoramic views of the Tian Shan. This journey allows you to truly feel the spirit of Kyrgyz nomadic culture while immersing yourself in the pristine beauty of the mountains.
Upon arrival at Lake Köl-Suu, you’ll have free time to stroll along the shore, capture stunning photos, or simply relax against the backdrop of turquoise waters and majestic cliffs. This remote, photogenic alpine lake offers one of the most striking natural settings in Kyrgyzstan, leaving a lasting impression.
After lunch back at camp, we continue our journey to Naryn, the administrative center of Naryn Region and an important hub for exploring central Kyrgyzstan. The drive takes us through dramatic mountain landscapes, passes, and valleys that reveal the rugged and awe-inspiring nature of the region.
In the evening, we arrive in Naryn, check into a comfortable guesthouse, and enjoy dinner. A restful night here prepares you for the next stage of your highland adventure.

After breakfast, we set off along the scenic southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake toward the city of Karakol. This route is considered one of the most beautiful in Kyrgyzstan, offering sweeping mountain landscapes, expansive valleys, and breathtaking views of the legendary lake throughout the journey.
Along the way, we’ll visit a local berkutchi, a master of traditional eagle hunting. You’ll learn about this ancient art, watch a demonstration with a golden eagle, and discover the historical role of the berkutchi in Kyrgyz nomadic culture. (Eagle hunting demonstration is available for an additional fee.)
Next, we explore the famous “Skazka” (Fairy Tale) Canyon. Its unique clay formations in whimsical shapes and vibrant colors create the feeling of an open-air natural gallery. A walk through the canyon offers perfect photo opportunities and unforgettable experiences.
We then continue to Barskoon Gorge, one of the most picturesque gorges in the Issyk-Kul region. A scenic trail leads to the “Tears of the Snow Leopard” waterfall, surrounded by pine forests and mountain slopes. The fresh mountain air and the soothing sound of cascading water make this stop particularly atmospheric.
After a day full of exploration, we arrive in Karakol, check into a cozy guesthouse, and in the evening enjoy a visit to the hot springs, where you can relax and rejuvenate in natural thermal waters — a perfect way to end an active day in Kyrgyzstan.

After breakfast, we leave Karakol for one of Eastern Kyrgyzstan’s most iconic and scenic spots — Altyn-Arashan Gorge. This route is a classic for travelers in the Karakol region, known for its untamed nature, alpine meadows, and natural hot springs.
Upon arrival at the gorge’s starting point, we transfer to a specialized off-road vehicle (UAZ), as the mountain roads are accessible only to four-wheel-drive vehicles. (Off-road ride is available for an additional fee.) The journey itself becomes an adventure, with breathtaking views of mountains, rushing rivers, and rugged terrain.
Once in Altyn-Arashan, you’ll have free time to explore the surrounding area, enjoy panoramic views of the Tian Shan, and relax in nature. The highlight of the day is a soak in the Altyn-Arashan hot springs, famous for their therapeutic properties and pleasantly warm waters year-round.
For those seeking extra adventure, optional horseback rides across the alpine meadows offer a unique way to experience the gorge and fully immerse yourself in the spirit of Kyrgyz mountains. (Horseback rides are available for an additional fee.)
In the evening, we return to our guesthouse in Karakol, where you can unwind and rest after a full day of mountain exploration.

After breakfast, we depart from Karakol and travel along the scenic northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake to the town of Cholpon-Ata. This day combines cultural landmarks, mountain gorges, and panoramic views of one of Kyrgyzstan’s most famous resort regions.
Our first stop is the Dungan Mosque in Karakol, a unique architectural gem built entirely without nails in traditional Chinese style. Here, you’ll learn about the Dungan people, their culture, and their religious traditions.
Next, we visit the Nikolay Przhevalsky Museum, dedicated to the renowned Russian explorer and researcher of Central Asia. The museum’s exhibits highlight his expeditions, studies of the Tian Shan, and contributions to the understanding of the region.
After lunch, we continue toward Cholpon-Ata, making a stop at Semenov Gorge, one of the greenest and most spacious areas on the northern shore. Known for its pine forests and alpine meadows, it’s a perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air. Here, we also visit Kyrchyn Jailyu, a high-altitude pasture valley famous for ethnic festivals and traditional games.
The journey continues through Grigoriev Gorge, another picturesque gorge of the Issyk-Kul region. Along the way, we pause at scenic viewpoints to admire mountain rivers, lush forests, and stunning vistas of Issyk-Kul Lake.
In the evening, we arrive in Cholpon-Ata, check into a cozy guesthouse, and relax after a day full of cultural and natural exploration.

After breakfast, we depart from Cholpon-Ata and head back to Bishkek. The final day of the tour blends Kyrgyz cultural heritage, nomadic philosophy, and monuments of ancient history.
In Cholpon-Ata, we visit the Rukh-Ordo Cultural Center, dedicated to the legendary Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov. This unique spiritual and cultural complex on the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake features:

• Aitmatov Memorial House
• Sculptures inspired by his literary works
• Museums and exhibition halls showcasing the symbols of nomadic peoples
• A photo gallery, portrait hall, and concert hall
• An open-air stage with panoramic views of Issyk-Kul

A special feature of the center is its five religious structures, symbolizing the world’s major faiths: Christianity (Orthodox and Catholic chapels), Islam, Buddhism, and Judaism, along with monuments honoring philosophers, thinkers, and public figures from different eras.
Continuing our journey toward Bishkek, we stop in Tokmok to visit one of Kyrgyzstan’s most famous historical landmarks — the Burana Tower. This ancient minaret, dating from the 9th–11th centuries during the Karakhanid era, is located in the Chuy Valley, about 12 km southwest of Tokmok and 80 km from Bishkek. Explore the archaeological complex and learn about the history of the Great Silk Road.
In the evening, we arrive in Bishkek, check into a guesthouse, and conclude our unforgettable tour of Kyrgyzstan, having experienced its culture, history, and breathtaking landscapes from mountains to lakes.
